Sunset return experience
A large-scale astronomy experience designed to observe the 2026 solar eclipse from the open sea, with optimal horizon conditions and guided interpretation.
Solar Eclipse at Sea is a custom-designed astronomical event developed for the August 12, 2026 eclipse.
The project moves observation away from land-based limitations — such as buildings, terrain, and atmospheric haze — to a controlled maritime environment with a clear western horizon. Guests observe the eclipse from a catamaran, guided by astronomers and equipped with certified observation tools.
The experience combines precise logistical planning, astronomical timing, and large-group coordination to deliver a high-quality viewing environment during a rare celestial event.
